History
Katie Coleman has always dreamed of building her own private practice since graduating with her Master's Degree of Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2010. With her many years of experience within the pediatric therapy arena, Katie realized the limited amount of services provided to families and their children with special needs on this side of Connecticut. The idea emerged to provide pediatric occupational therapy services to those who require and benefit from intervention- and take as many insurances as possible! As a result, Coleman Pediatric Therapy, LLC was created in 2017. We are excited to see where this adventure takes us!

Katie Coleman
Throughout her seven years of experience, Katie has worked in various pediatric settings, which has given her an unique perspective on children with special needs as well as their families. After working her initial first three years in her career at Lawrence & Memorial hospital outpatient pediatric program, Katie became a contractor for two early intervention programs who serviced children on the Autism spectrum. In 2014, Katie began her career in school-based therapy in Bolton Public Schools, servicing students within the educational world. As professional development is one of her passions, Katie has attended many in-services and conferences on the Handwriting Without Tears, Size Matters handwriting program, SOS approach to feeding, Beckman oral motor assessment and intervention, astronaut training, integrated listening system, and more. In addition to Katie's professional life, she enjoys spending time with her adorable golden retriever, reading, the beach, traveling, and spending time at the gym.
